A Story
of passion<\/strong><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I have always been passionate about fragrance. In high school, when the time came to choose a career path, I dreamed of becoming a \u201cnose\u201d and working for a perfumer. But despite being in the science stream, chemistry was definitely not my forte. Guided by a desire to care for others, I quickly found my calling in aesthetics. My Bac D in hand, I therefore enrolled in an aesthetics CAP encouraged by my father! I still remember his reaction when I told him my decision: \u201cif all my students were as motivated as you, I would be the happiest of teachers!\u201d
To please my parents, I then pursued an aesthetics BTS. I however imposed one condition: to work in a perfumery at the same time. It was a revelation! I loved the world of luxury, fragrance, brands, and glamour\u2026 I understood that I had found my path.<\/p>

At the end of my studies, I entered the School of Perfumers and Creators (ISIPCA) founded by Jean-Jacques Guerlain, in Versailles. I worked for four years for this beautiful house as a trainer-animator. I then took over the management of a major perfumery in Nantes, and eventually the sales management of some fifty boutiques.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

A Story

A dozen years later, the question of what I truly wanted in life forced itself upon me. The answer didn\u2019t surprise me; it was exactly the same as twenty years earlier: caring for others. I had gained great experience in cosmetics and perfumery; it was time to take the plunge. I needed to find meaning and bring my values to life.<\/p>

In May 2009, with my wife, Nathalie, we created our own brand of organic skincare products, Estime & Sens. At that time, there was a demand for organic products, but the products themselves were not fully developed. There was real room for improvement in the texture of the creams, their fragrance, and their effectiveness. We then identified a pioneering French laboratory in the field to offer high-end organic products at the fairest price. I kept a little pleasure for myself: choosing all the fragrances myself, which are exclusively of natural origin.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Our first sales took place in our living room with our friends! But very quickly, rather than direct home sales, we chose to turn towards beauty institutes. As an aesthetician, I know just how essential personalized advice is. What is the best treatment worth without the listening, the skin diagnosis, and the expertise of a professional?<\/p>

Today, more than 1,000 institutes in France and abroad place their trust in us. Estime & Sens also employs more than twenty people, almost all of whom come from the aesthetics profession.

Engaged in an eco-responsible approach, we are aware of the impact of our choices and seek to improve ourselves a little more every day.<\/p>

Our suppliers (conditioning, packaging) are located in the Nantes region, in the southwest of France, and in Italy.
The vast majority of our active ingredients are grown in France. But others come from a bit further away. This is the case for our argan oil produced in Morocco. We are uncompromising about their quality, the way they are produced and, of course, their organic certification.<\/p>

Anxious to comply with European legislation, we do not inform you that our products are not tested on animals, as it is forbidden to use this as a commercial argument because it would imply that products that do not mention non-testing on animals would still do so. We can reassure you that neither our products nor our raw materials are tested on animals in accordance with European cosmetic regulations.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Packaging Choices

Our packaging has evolved a lot since our beginnings. It is fully part of this eco-responsibility approach.
We have thus replaced the large purple solid color of our first containers with a refined, grey and white logo, which is more economical in ink.
We have placed an informative label on all our packaging to facilitate sorting.
We use recycled paper and plastic.
We only sell what is necessary and offer refillable cups to slide into the jars.
The glass we use is designed to be as thin as possible but without being more fragile.<\/p>

These choices allow us to offer products of a very high quality, respectful of health and nature, and at the most reasonable price. The ideal of estime&sens is to make healthy, effective, high-quality, and nature-respecting beauty products accessible to as many people as possible. Contributing to the physical and psychological well-being of sick people, helping them in this way to restore the esteem they have for themselves and to be fully active in their healing, is completely part of this ideal. To take concrete action, we have decided to donate a portion of our sales to the socio-aesthetic services set up in certain hospitals. This is our own way of supporting those who are struck by illness, bringing them comfort, a certain peace, and helping them to fight.<\/p>
